Rentals are month to month, yearly, and seasonal
Ensure your storage unit by paying first month's rent upon signing the contract. Afterwards, mark on your calendar that rent is due at the first of each month.
Did you move in during the month? In order to be fair, your first month will be pro-rated. In addition, if your lease is entered into after the 15th of the month, the next month's rent is also due upon execution of the lease.
Storage access every day of the week
Make sure you pay your rent before the 6th of the month because you will incur a $20.00 late fee if you don't. In addition, due to returned or dishonored checks, a $20.00 fee is also granted. The moral of the story is to make sure you pay your rent and that it's on time!
